Abstract

Religious values play a role in shaping individual character and behavior, especially in Indonesia. The Pancasila Student Profile, which includes six key characteristics, aims to develop students who are not only academically outstanding but also highly moral and ethical. This research explores the relevance of religious values in the character-building of Pancasila Students through text analysis of Endah's Kaba Siti Baheram (2021). Focuses on how religiosity is in the text and its relevance to character education. The content analysis method was used to examine the literary text. The results showed that religious values such as advising, not expecting replies, putting the interests of others first, and caring are very much in line with the characteristics of Pancasila students. The advice in the story reflects deep religious values, which are integrated into character education to form a young generation of noble morals and good behavior. This research contributes to scholarship by showing how religiosity to character education, particularly in the Indonesian context. However, this study has some weaknesses, such as the limited data analyzed and the narrow focus on one source text. Further research can also explore how religiosity values in the character education curriculum can be effective in developing students who are not only intelligent but also noble.
